I Know You Are, But What Am I?

We have been obsessed with Pee Wee Herman since we were a small child. Our whole family was fans and even when the whole porn theatre thing happened (which we suggest you look up because as it turns out, things were not quite as cut and dry as the media lead people to believe) our mother assured us that Pee Wee was a good man.  We love Pee Wee so much that we traveled to New York this past Novemeber to see the stage show, which was quite possibly one of the best days of our lives.

We have the playbill from the show framed on our wall and we wouldn’t sell if for a hundred billion million trillion dollars.

In this day an age, anyone can become famous. It doesn’t take any sort of real talent or even skill, so for us seeing someone like Pee Wee finally get all the recognition he deserves is a big go fuck yourself to the reality TV generation and celebutards of the last decade.  A real talent who brought his own unique edge to comedy and inspired the imagination of children and adults alike.

Pee Wee teamed up with Andy Samberg (with a guest appearance by Anderson Cooper) for an SNL digital short this past weekend and the the results are too amazing to put into words, so we won’t bother trying.
